TUITION AND CLASSES

Your tuition will be based on your requirements and your level of English which will be assessed when you arrive.

You will receive 15 hours per week of formal English language tuition and you may have small language assignments to complete in the afternoon or evening; you will also benefit from informal conversational English with your hosts at other times.

Classes will normally be held in the mornings for five days each week but the timing is flexible and can be changed to suit student preferences.

Class sizes may vary between one and four people.

Courses can be one or more weeks, as you require.

SAMPLE WEEK

Days 1 to 5:

Mornings

From 9.00am to 10.30am - English lesson

From 10.30am to 10.45am - Break for tea and biscuits

From 10.45am to 12.15pm - English lesson.

Afternoons

Free time for you to explore Perth, visit all the places of interest, spend time at one of our beautiful, clean beaches, go on a boat trip, visit the markets etc. There are so many places to go and things to do. Your hosts will also take you out to restaurants, visit friends and enjoy many other activities.

Evenings

After dinner you will relax at home and practise your conversation skills by chatting with your hosts and telling them all you had been doing during the afternoon. This is a very important time as you will be able to exchange information about the similarities and differences between your two countries.

Days 6 and 7:

There will be no classes for 2 days each week so you can explore Perth or spend the time relaxing in our house in the countryside.
